My first time getting practice round tickets and getting to walk the grounds and experience the Masters and all its traditions and beauty. Breath taking!
Much better, the colors were more vibrant, the smells, sights and sounds all were well beyond what you can experience on TV. And then the food prices were unexpected and really good. All the marshals, and other workers were wonderful and very helpful for a first timer. I have been to four practice rounds since 2004 and am never disappointed and always amazed with Augusta National. I keep hoping to get a lucky draw to go again. At 78 my days for attendance are dwindling.

Unbelievable drama at 16.
- stood behind green all afternoon
-roars for Jack then his name goes up on the leaderboard left of 6.
-the patrons non-support for Seve.
- Jim Nantz in the booth above me working his first Masters.
-Jack coming closest to an ace that day on 16.
-Jack drawing a huge crowd in his wake up 17.
-Norman throwing darts but unable to close the deal.
- the incredible drama of it all.
If you're going to make your Masters debut, no better one than that. Good stuff.
